Who We Are
Freedom of Faith Food Bank is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Michael and Kyara Ofuani. We are run for the community, by the community, providing groceries, fresh provisions, and wraparound support to families facing food insecurity in Sunnyside and across Houston’s underserved neighborhoods.
Our Provisions
Sunnyside Up Community Pantry: free groceries every Friday, 11am to 3pm, at Pro-Vision Academy, 4590 Wilmington St., Houston, TX 77051. Families receive shelf-stable staples, fresh produce, and protein, alongside health resources from our partners at the African American Health Coalition.
